They worked long hard hours and made sure the work was of the highest quality (we live in a high end neighborhood and we are very very happy with the remodel results). Paul and his sons communicated with us regularly about how the work was progressing and we always had an open dialog with him and his team. I would have no reservations whatsoever recommending the Slade group to my family and best friends for all levels of general contracting — from simple repairs to major overhauls. My attached covered deck had begun to sink. I was worried that it would caused a lot of damage if it came became any worse. So I contacted the SLADE GROUP to see what could be done to repair the issue. I was impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail that was put into my deck. Communication was excellent throughout the entire project. There were times that suggestions were offered but no pressure was given.
I appreciate the integrity and skill that was shown all through out the process. At the close of the day the area was cleaned up and kept neat and old parts were taken away. I love my beautiful and safe deck! It will be a place that I can now safely share with family and friends! I would recommend the SLADE GROUP to anyone and everyone in need!

Paul oversaw our condo upgrade which included new carpet, painting, closets and light fixtures. Paul was an excellent communicator and the quality of the work was good. The installer of the carpet made a slight burn mark on the carpet, and Paul alerted us immediately and had the whole room’s carpet was replaced promptly.

Paul and Nick were very professional and prompt. They rebuild our deck and have had so many people complement how wonderful it looks. They cleaned up every day after working which is a pleasant surprise now a days. I would and have recommend them to do work for you.

I was working via a contractor who set up Paul on coming to do the framing and electrical in my basement. The framing was the first step in the basement finish and Paul and his boys were on time, knocked the job out and the work was top notch. They finished up and then were going to be back once the basement was almost complete to finish up the electrical. Well in the meantime I came to find out the contractor I was working with was a very shady individual (learn from me, always make sure to ask for prove of being licensed and having insurance. I asked this contractor if he had all that and he confirmed he did, but never provided proof. I would also aske for references!). He started not paying subs, Paul being one of them. When Paul reached out to me in regards to the situation he was very professional and explained the situation. I talked with my contractor who I had already paid for a portion of the job to on getting him paid and he claimed he would reach out to Paul and get it taken care of. Long story short, he never finished paying Paul and also did not finish the work at my basement. He left one night and was never to be seen or heard from again. When I reached out to Paul and let him know the situation he was amazing. He came over to see what work was left to be done and where him and his boys could help.

I have learned that there are shady contractors in this world and also amazing contractors. Paul is an honest and hardworking guy. I will for sure be using him in the future for any contracting needs that may come up and would highly recommend him to any of my family & friends! He is for sure one of the good guys! Paul quickly responded to my request for a quote for a roof-deck flooring, as quickly provided an accurate estimate, and he and his team were very professional, did the job with good quality as agreed to, and left the site very neat and clean. I’d definitely use them again.

I was very happy with the Slade Group. Paul and Nick were great communicators, efficient, on time and pleasant to work with. They installed new ceiling tiles in our conference room and left it spotless. I will be calling them again.

Paul and Nick did a great job converting some built in shelving back into a closet and repairing some wall damage. They were very professional and patient with my kids who “helped” with the project. They always arrived when scheduled and left my house clean.

Slade Group installed very large glass dry erase boards, as well as some lockers in our new office. The work was done well and the cost was very fair. Paul built a wood frame to be sure that all the boards were level and consistent height in the office. Paul worked with our schedule and was timely with the work he did. We will be sure to use him again for future carpentry needs.
